Fun Saturdays

This was today (Monday) Mike's REAL birthday, he wanted a giant cookie instead of a cake- it turned out to be a giant blob but he loved it anyways. I have such a cute husband :o)


Well Monday is Mike's birthday but we decided it was more fun to celebrate it over the weekend so we went to SEVEN PEAKS! Yay!
It was really fun, I haven't been there in years!









Also, last Saturday (the 14th) Emily and I gave cute prego Katy a baby shower. Katy is having a boy and I believe he's due the 29th of July. It was so much fun to see everyone! Especially since most of our friends have children we hardly ever get together!






















PS- I also have a random side note- Mike's brother is trying to get rid of his dirt bike. . . so if anyone is wanting one or knows someone who does- they needa get rid of it ASAP. Its a 2003 Kawasaki 125, only been ridden like 5 times max. Its in GREAT condition and only $2,250. Ok- thats all, Mike just wanted me to comment about that :o) <--- it looks similar to that one

About My Husband Tag

(Its all about Nebraska Football in the fall)

1. What is his name? Michael Todd Hayman

2. Who eats more? He does- I try to out do him sometimes but its not possible.

3. Who said I love you first? He did :o) We were in Park City with our friends Kirstie and Jeff.

4. Who is taller? Mike is by about five inches.

5. Who is smarter? Mike! He loves school and got a 4.0 all through college. He's a sm arty pants. He actually wants to go to Graduate School one day.

6. Who is more sensitive? I am! For sure! Mike is a rough and tough fighter and I am the one who cries at all the movies!

7.Who does the laundry? I do- who knows what our clothes would look like if Mike tried. Just Kidding :o)

8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Looking at the bed, I do. But he has to have his very own comforter because some how during the night he wraps himself up in it like a cocoon.

9. Who pays the bills? We both do- we split them actually. Its whoever has the free time when all the bills come due for the month.

10. Who cooks more? Neither- we believe in Lean Cuisines and Rice-a-Roni. He does make one mean stir fry though- and he's an awesome 'griller' when we feel like getting the BBQ gear out.

11. What meals do you cook together? Its usually one or the other cooking. . . never both.

12. Who is more stubborn? I say he is and he says I am. Go figure.

13. Who is the first to admit they're wrong? Me, thats why I say he is the stubborn one :o)

14. Who has more siblings? Mike. He has two older sisters, an older brother and three younger brothers. Totaling six siblings. I only have two younger brothers.

15. Who wears the pants in the relationship? I don't really know- he definitely always gets what he wants, but then again so do I.

16. What do you like to do together? Snowboarding every weekend in the winter and hiking in the summer. He agrees to go shopping with me and I agree to watch his UFC fights with him. We work out together everyday, take naps together on Sundays, and totally just finished a Guitar Hero phase. Our favorite is just relaxing on weekends from our hectic work schedules and talking til the wee hours of the morning.

17. Who eats more sweets? I do by far! Mike said he never ate sweets til he met me- now he tries to blame his once a week sweet tooth on me. But if I could just eat sweets all day, every day, believe me I would!

18. Guilty pleasures? Ever since a Chipotle opened in Utah we go there once a week. At first he'd just have to wait til we went back to Nebraska, then they opened one in Bountiful (and yes we drove out there every weekend), but now there is one by South Towne Mall. And EL Fudge Double Stuffed Cookies or Chocolate cake-

19. How did you meet? We totally met on Trax up at the U, it was like 10 o'clock at night and we were coming home from a study session. (I didn't even know he was in my class!)

20. Who asked who out first? Me totally- he was too shy. And stayed way shy for like the first three months!

21. Who kissed who first? He did- finally, after what seemed like FOREVER!

22. Who proposed? He did- at Temple Square while looking at the Christmas lights. I was completely surprised! :o)

23. His best features? I love his bright blue eyes and his physique- he's always in shape no matter what and has so much energy it makes me jealous.

24. What is his greatest quality? How he is always trying to take care of me and that he is never serious! I laugh at him all the time- he has an awesome and witty sense of humor (he thinks of the funniest and most random comments to write on birthday and holiday cards- i laugh for hours, I don't know where he comes up with that stuff!)

He also threatened to keep the "Handlebar Mustache" for a week!


25. Tag? Robyn and Andrea

Yay!

Thanks to Robyn and Jeff, Goku (as Mike called her for the 2 1/2 days we had her) found a home! They came and picked her up Friday evening :o). I just want to say What A Relief! I felt so bad for the little thing- she couldn't even eat food yet! We had to feed her milk through a syringe! But in those 2 1/2 days we really became so attached to her- we would have kept her but it would have been miserable for all of us, cats make Mike's eyes and throat itchy and I just can't breathe at all. We were willing to suffer for a few days though because she was so much fun! Thanks again to Robyn because I was really worried we were going to have to take her to the Humane Society and I REALLY didn't want too!
